The West Coast premiere of Abby Rosebrock's darkly comedic romantic play Dido of Idaho unfolds at The Echo Theater Company, directed by Abigail Deser. The story follows Nora, a baroque musicologist struggling with her feelings for Michael, an English professor already involved with Crystal, a former Miss Idaho. As chaotic romantic entanglements erupt, Nora retreats to the Rocky Mountains to reconnect with her estranged mother, Julie, and her partner, Ethel, risking the family bonds she desperately seeks.
