Bitingly relevant, sprinkled with sass, and inspired by the hit film, this show takes audiences on a high-flying journey that is filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness. Uniting some of the freshest and funniest creative minds on Broadway, Bring It On features an original story by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q), music and lyrics by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning composer, Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights, Hamilton), music by Pulitzer- and Tony Award-winning composer, Tom Kitt (Next to Normal), lyrics by Broadway lyricist, Amanda Green (High Fidelity), and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Musical. With a colorful assortment of characters, an exciting fresh sound and explosive choreography with aerial stunts, this hilarious, universal story is sure to be everything that you hoped for and nothing like you expected. Other than some language, this show is for the entire family!

Joel Sluyter
Producer-Director-Choreographer
Joel trained at New York University as a dance performance major through Tisch School of the Arts. He is currently the Conservatory Director at the Palos Verdes Performing Arts. He has been choreographing dance for over 20 years and has taught at many high schools and universities throughout the country. His work has won Grand Championships at Show Choir competitions and first place finishes at dance competitions. A few of his favorite shows to have choreographed include Mamma Mia, Grease, Shrek, Fame, Legally Blonde, Camp Rock, West Side Story, and High School Musical. Joel thanks his beautiful wife, Candice for her love and support, and his awesome kids, Triniti and Caden!
