Ryan Cross, a celebrated jazz bassist, cellist, and composer, brings his exceptional talents to the stage with his band. A Grammy-recognized musician who has performed and recorded with legends like Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, and John Legend, Cross’ mastery of jazz and wide-ranging versatility make his performances dynamic and unforgettable. Having appeared on over 100 TV shows and films, Cross’ influence extends across music and entertainment.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Cross moved to Los Angeles when he received a full scholarship to attend the University of Southern California where he studied under Grammy-winning musician John Clayton.
Cross received Grammy recognition for playing Bass on Beyoncé’s Grammy Award –winning album Lemonade. He has also graced the recording studio and stage with Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Michael Bublé, Meghan Trainor, Arturo Sandoval, Natalie Cole, Jill Scott, Macy Gray, Gladys Knight, and Chaka Khan, among others.
Ryan has appeared, recorded and contracted on such film and TV shows as Glee, The Voice, American Idol, All American, Hart of Dixie, Criminal Minds, Jane the Virgin, NCIS, Friends, ER, The West Wing, Big Bang Theory, Cold Case, Along Came Polly and Poseidon.
