Cherry Poppins Will Present WET HOT A MUSICAL SUMMER at Hollywood Fringe
Garrett Clayton and Emma Hunton star in the cult-film parody at The Three Clubs in Los Angeles.
Cherry Poppins will present WET HOT A MUSICAL SUMMER as part of this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Inspired by the 2001 cult comedy film Wet Hot American Summer, the production reimagines the final day at Camp Firewood as a stage musical comedy featuring camp counselors, collapsing relationships, escalating chaos, and increasingly absurd situations. The musical follows a group of counselors attempting to navigate the final hours of camp as events spiral increasingly out of control.
The cast includes Lauren Avon, Heath Butler, Amber Bracken, Everjohn Feliciano, Michael Shaw Fisher, Garrett Clayton, Madeleine Heil, Emma Hunton, Schoen Hodges, Carly Jibson, Mitchell Gerrard Johnson, Reagan Osborne, Cory Robison, and Sarah Wines.
Behind the scenes, the production is driven by Alli Miller-Fisher, Sarah Haworth, Chadd McMillan, Emma Hunton, Lauren Avon, and Kelly Stavert.
Created by the team behind Hollywood Fringe standouts like Dr. Nympho vs. The Sex Zombies, Shakeslesque, The Knock Shop, CRAFTlesque, and A Whole NEWD World, this latest outing doubles down on their signature mix of fearless comedy and genre-smashing chaos.
Wet Hot A Musical Summer will be performed Thursday June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th at 7:30pm and Saturday June 27th at 5:30pm at The Three Clubs 1123 Vine Street Los Angeles CA 90038
