The Jackie Mason Musical at Bayway Arts Center

Laughter takes center-stage in this story based on the 10 year whirlwind romance of legendary comedian Jackie Mason and the playwright of the show, featuring their lovechild Sheba Mason as her mother,  Jackie doppleganger Ian Wehrle, and a cast of characters, circa  Miami Beach and The Borscht Belt 1977-1986, with a "soaring musical score"  including songs "Ode to the Early Bird Special", "The Finger", and "I Never Met This Yenta”. This  true story highlights the romantic misadventures of Jackie Mason as Broadway stardom emerges and Sheba is born. This production also includes three hilarious stars from the highly successful  "Menopause the Musical" (Smithtown PAC).
