Cat's in the Cradle 50th Anniversary: The Song That Changed Our Lives is a feature-length documentary about the iconic song written by Harry Chapin and his wife Sandy in 1974, exploring its enduring impact on parents and children across generations and cultures. The film features LIMEHOF inductees Billy Joel, Pat Benatar, Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, and Dee Snider, along with Judy Collins, Mandy Patinkin, and others sharing how the song has shaped their lives. The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) will host an encore screening on June 19th at their Stony Brook village location, followed by a Q&A with producers S.A. Baron and Jason Chapin, Harry Chapin's son. The event will also serve as a food drive benefiting Long Island Cares, the organization Harry Chapin founded in 1980.
