The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame will host the LIMEHOF Music Documentary Film Festival from August 8 to August 10, featuring a diverse lineup of 24 films that spotlight various music genres, including rock, hip-hop, and jazz. Highlighting the festival is the opening night film, Cat’s in the Cradle 50th Anniversary: The Song That Changed Our Lives, celebrating the legacy of Harry Chapin with expected participants including producer S.A. Baron and LI Cares’ Paule Pachter in a Q&A session. Filmmaker discussions and live music performances will enhance the experience, with notable artists such as Billy J. Kramer and DJ Johnny Juice scheduled to appear.
