On Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2014) the electrifying musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, celebrated its first anniversary in Las Vegas at Harrah's Las Vegas. Following a full standing ovation during the show's finale, cast member Marc D. Donovan ('Sam Phillips') took the stage to address the house, sharing words of gratitude for the audience's support of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET in its first year. Set in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City, 'In the Heights' is about a Dominican-American neighborhood on the brink of change. Performance dates are tonight, Feb. 20-22, Feb. 27-March 1 and March 6-7 at 7:00 p.m. and a 2 p.m. performance on Saturday, March 1, 2014.

On Friday March 7th, Angel Reed, Executive Director of Studio 7Arts, will be bringing American Idol and Tony nominee, Constantine Maroulis, as a Guest Teaching Artist to Reno Little Theatre. Maroulis, a graduate of the Boston Conservatory, was 6th runner up on Season 4 of American Idol. He performed Bohemian Rhapsody, which has been held in the top 10 of all time performances on American Idol. Maroulis later went on to star in Rock of Ages on Broadway and received a Tony nomination for Best Actor and most recently starred in the revival of Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway in the title role.

Currently it plays Fridays and Saturdays only, but beginning February 25th that will change to Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays at 10pm and Saturdays at 11:30pm.

The Super Bowl champions made their way into the club around 11:30 p.m. and were immediately in celebration mode as their logo took over the floor-to-ceiling LED screens and flashed a congratulations message for all to see. The festivities didn't stop there as the guys were treated to an extensive VIP experience on the main stage and were presented with a stunning five-tier trophy inspired cake that brought the whole venue to cheers. Filled with excitement, the Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice held the cake high above his head for all to see and the energy of the nightspot erupted. As the party continued, some of the team members made their way down to the Ling Ling Club to enjoy hits played by DJ Gusto while others enjoyed their evening in the main room and partied into the early hours of the morning with their fans.
