Part of Kansas City Ballet's Family Series, this hour-long narrated ballet, choreographed by Bruce Wells with music by Nicola Piovani and Amilcare Ponchielli, brings the beloved tale to life with vibrant choreography and colorful characters. It follows the wooden puppet's extraordinary quest to become a real boy as he tumbles through mischievous adventures and discovers powerful life lessons. Performed by Kansas City Ballet's Second Company with live narration, it is designed especially for young audiences as an introduction to theater and dance.
