Indie Spotlight from Challenger Artists is an approximately 60-minute immersive audio program presented through Sound Mandala's custom 100-speaker system at the Unicorn Theatre's Jerome Stage. Five bands perform two songs each, with original multi-track recordings mixed specifically for the Sound Mandala environment. Featured artists include Mini Trees (the indie-alt pop project of LA-based songwriter Lexi Vega), Brooklyn duo TOLEDO, Valley Boy, Midwest four-piece Post Sex Nachos, and Chicago indie act Capital Soiree.
