Generation W will present the Jacksonville premiere and benefit performance of THE CIRCLE. THE CIRCLE is written by and stars nationally known actress, Tina Lifford and directed by Shirley Jo Finney, who has won multiple awards for her special talent and eye for storytelling. Tina Lifford and Generation W are teaming up with The Alhambra Theater and Dining to showcase THE CIRCLE Sunday, August 24th and Monday, August 25th.

THE CIRCLE is often referred to as an outlet for women to share life experiences - the ups and the downs, the good, the not-so-good, and the deep sense of relief that comes with having a safe haven. During THE CIRCLE, the stage will come alive with life-altering stories made up of issues that resonate with women. It is a play about seven women's lives that will make you think, feel, dream, and be inspired. THE CIRCLE becomes a safe place for women to share the subjects that impact them, which in turn empowers the audience to think about who they really are. Tina Lifford, playwright and Executive Producer based THE CIRCLE on her own experiences as well as those of many women she has encountered through out her own life.

Said Ms. Lifford, "I've been a member of a Sister Circle for almost 30 years. We have watched one another flower and grow beyond our challenges and beyond feeling 'less than' in some way." She continued, "I admire the honesty of the women in my Sister Circle and their willingness to dig deep to find their true Self. My sincere desire is that THE CIRCLE will be a catalyst that moves our audience into greater self-acceptance and the growing awareness that you are bigger than any challenge you face."
