0800-CUPID, written and performed by Emer Dineen, is a genre-defying queer musical created with director Phillip McMahon and produced by THISISPOPBABY. The show traces an extraordinary year in Dineen's life — navigating her father's dementia diagnosis, a Tourette's diagnosis, the loss of her call-centre job, and her nightlife career in drag as the alter ego 'Cupid' — all set against the pulse of London's club scene. Sliding between fantasy and reality, Dineen is joined onstage by Isabel Adomakoh Young, Carl Harrison, and a live band featuring Tom Beech, Michael McCarthy, and Osazee Aiguokhian, delivering a high-energy music theatre experience that explores identity, crisis, and survival. The show was hailed as the standout hit of the 2024 festival season before transferring to Soho Theatre, London, where it received multiple five-star reviews.
