Broadway funnyman and breakout star of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Schmigadoon, Tituss Burgess, brings his solo show to The Cabaret! Known for his fabulous voice and even more fabulous persona, a night in Burgess's presence is sure to be unforgettable! A veteran of the stage, Tituss Burgess made his Broadway debut as Eddie in Good Vibrations and has played Hal Miller in the original Broadway cast of Jersey Boys, Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the 2009 revival of Guys and Dolls, and Sebastian in the original Broadway cast of The Little Mermaid. He recently returned to Broadway for a stint in Moulin Rouge! The Musical, playing the role of club owner Harold Zidler. In addition to his well-deserved success on screen and stage, Burgess also entertains thousands daily with his side-splitting observations and skits on Instagram.
TV audiences know Burgess best for his four seasons as the hilarious showman ’Titus Andromedon’ in the Netflix comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (with the character's "Pinot Noir" song from the show going viral). He received four consecutive Emmy nominations for the role, and he reprised the role in the Netflix interactive special Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend and was nominated for an Emmy for “Outstanding Supporting Actor.” More recently, Burgess was seen in the second season of the Apple TV+ musical comedy Schmigadoon!
An accomplished voice actor, Tituss starred in the animated musical comedy series Central Park for Apple TV+, for which he was nominated for his sixth Emmy Award. Other credits include the Netflix films Set It Up and Dolemite Is My Name, as well as MGM’s Aretha Franklin biopic Respect.
