The Meridian Cafe at Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre

American Lives Theatre presents the world premiere of The Meridian Cafe, written by Lucy Thurber and directed by Chris Saunders. Set entirely during one autumn night in a fictitious late-night diner inspired by historic Indianapolis gathering spots, the play follows multiple characters as they face individual moments of change. The script was developed specifically for a core group of Indianapolis actors after Thurber interviewed local performers about meaningful places across the city. The cast features Ian Cruz, Matt Kraft, Morgan Morton, Lynne Perkins, Joshua Short, and Allen Sledge.
