The Cabaret presents multi-talented Broadway star and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Reeve Carney, who will present two different shows during his run at The Cabaret! Carney is best known for his portrayal of Dorian Gray on Showtime’s Penny Dreadful and Riff Raff in Fox’s Rocky Horror Picture Show Reimagined. He also originated the Broadway roles of Orpheus in Hadestown (Grammy Award for “Best Musical Theater Album”) and Peter Parker in Julie Taymor/U2’s Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark.
For Friday’s performance, Carney will perform a night of music honoring the artistry of the legendary Rock n’ Roll supergroup Queen and its undeniable impact on modern music. Armed with his guitar, incredible vocals, and the cabaret stage, Carney’s talents take center stage for an unforgettable experience. Friday night will also include a private post-show reception for members of SophistiTIX (Presented by Sabello), our 35 and under group. Members will also receive a BOGO ticket deal for that night’s performance.
"Carney turned the small stage into an enormous arena by the sheer force of his commitment, delivering with the passion and heart that Freddie Mercury deserves. Reeve Carney and Freddie Mercury, together at last. The result…an alchemy of souls.” - Broadway World
For Saturday’s performance, Broadway star and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Reeve Carney shares his unique twist on songs from the Broadway canon and the Great American Songbook, as well as selections from his 5-time Independent Music Award-Winning album, Youth Is Wasted. Reeve delivers a one-man-show cabaret that feels more like an invitation-only after-party.
“Carney is truly a force in entertainment and any opportunity you have to see him in a live show, take it.” - Broadway World
