ABOUT THE PLAY: One afternoon, Anthony arrives unexpectedly at classmate Caroline's door bearing a beat-up copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass, an urgent assignment from their English teacher. Homebound due to illness, Caroline hasn't been to school in months, but she is as quick and sardonic as Anthony is athletic, sensitive, and popular. As these two let down their guards and share their secrets, this seemingly mundane poetry project unlocks a much deeper mystery that has brought them together. I and You is an ode to youth, life, love, and the strange beauty of human connectedness. Content Disclosure: This play contains sensitive subject matter including chronic illness, medical procedures, mortality, and adult language.

TICKETS: Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of time; available seating is limited. Please bring your phone to scan your ticket upon arrival; no need to print it- you can also be checked in by name.

LOCATION: The performance will take place at the New Theater, located at 536 N. 7th Street Terre Haute, IN 47809, on the Indiana State University Campus. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The lobby is open one hour prior to curtain; the house opens thirty minutes prior to curtain. Patrons are encouraged to wear a mask while indoors on the Indiana State University campus regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.
