Theatre Southwest's annual Readers' Theatre event gives voice to works from independent playwrights. Join us on Sunday, January 18th and enjoy our 20th offering of this event. Local actors will perform 8-10 short original scripts, readers’ theater style. At the end of the readings, the audience will vote for the best script, and the winning playwright gets a $100 prize. Performances start at 3 pm at TSW's new location (3939 Hillcroft, Suite 160).

About the Theatre
Founded in 1957 and now in its 69th season, Theatre Southwest (TSW) has consistently maintained a reputation for offering exciting, relevant theatre. Plays by the most interesting playwrights, presented by accomplished casts and directors, set the standard at TSW. As one of Houston's premier smaller venues, TSW has successfully proven over the years that an enjoyable night at the theatre can be richly rewarding and inexpensive.
