This red-hot Broadway hit is a foot-stomping, high-voltage journey in song. From African chants and Delta spirituals to the urban electricity of a Chicago nightclub, from dusty backroad bluegrass to the twang of a country juke joint, it is a stirring retrospective of blues classics. Nominated for a Tony for "Best Musical," The New York Times pronounced this soulful survey of American music a "sure cure for the blues," and a "musical feast." The talented cast performs more than two dozen classic musical numbers, including "Fever," "Walkin' After Midnight" and "Let the Good Times Roll." Don't miss It Ain't Nothin' But The Blues when it comes to Houston's Queensbury Theatre.
