Black Boys Cry is an award-winning national touring stage play written and directed by Harold JAY Trotter that follows seven Black men through friendship, relationships, manhood, love, pressure, and the things men usually avoid talking about out loud. The production blends comedy, real conversations, unexpected emotional moments, and plenty of personality into an entertaining and honest experience. Starring Brad Cross, Ahz Moses, Robert Richard, Taylor Getwood, Matthew Newsome, Ryan Keith, and LaKeith Carter, the show has become known for sparking conversations long after the curtain falls. After successful performances in Houston, Chicago, Baltimore, Phoenix, and Atlanta, the production returns to Houston for one weekend only.
