Beethoven's Ode to Joy brings together two landmark works at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall, featuring the world premiere of the Dai-Keong Lee Violin Concerto alongside Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. Violinist Jennifer Koh performs the concerto, resurrecting the work of Hawai'i-born composer Dai-Keong Lee, whose music had largely faded from the repertoire. The program is conducted by Music & Artistic Director Dane Lam and features the Oʻahu Choral Society.
