Florida Rep’s Education Conservatory Program presents Shrek, The Musical, Jr., a family-friendly adaptation of the beloved animated film. The production features performances by thirty-seven local youth, ages 9 to 18, who embark on an adventure filled with humor, imaginative costumes, and lively songs like “Big Bright Beautiful World” and “I’m a Believer.” Directed by Monique Caldwell, with music direction by Rosalind Metcalf and choreography by Megan Leonard, this musical brings a fresh take on the classic tale of acceptance and friendship. Audiences will experience professional staging and a unique interpretation of this widely adored story during performances at the Historic Arcade Theatre in Fort Myers.
