The Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs has announced the line-up for the July 12 performance of JUST FOR LAUGHS comedy/variety show. Four comedians, two local “Audience Favorite” actors, accompanied by pianist Lin Hart.
Orlando comedian of Comedy Night School and Last Comic Standing-fame, Carmen Vallone is the headliner. Vallone brought the house down at the May performance and is back by audience demand. He will be backed on this outing by fellow comedians Peter Beebe, Matt Heilman and “New York’s Most Lovable Teddy Bear in a Get-Off-My-Lawn-Kinda Way,” Craig Schaefer.
Special guests for the show include Melissa Hennig and Luis Pages, fresh from winning “Audience Favorite” at the Stage It! 10-Minute Play Festival. They will reprise their performance of Oded Gross’s brilliantly hilarious Stain, along with other appearances throughout the evening.
Lin Hart returns on the piano and will share her vocals, along with her in-demand accompaniment. Emcee for the evening will be the Center’s Theater and Film Director Frank Blocker, formerly of Stage Left Studio in Manhattan where two of his solo works ran for three years, combined.

October 22, 2019Centers for Performing Arts Bonita Springs will present the brand new comedy CAUSE AND AFFECTION, October 24-27. A mix of pre-recorded soap opera scenes were filmed over the summer by the play's director Elizabeth D'Onofrio, whose professional careers in theatre and film span more than two decades. This unique presentation is perfectly suited for the Center's Moe Auditorium and Film Center stage.

October 07, 2019Comedy/variety show JUST FOR LAUGHS returns to The Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs October 11, 7:30pm at the Moe Auditorium and Film Center. The show includes comedians, songs, sketches and a musical improvisation. Comedian Carmen Vallone, of Comedy Night School and Last Comic Standing-fame, will be joined by Sheena Reagan, Charles Calabritto and Kyle Brandle. Brandle recently wowed the Orlando Fringe Festival with his comedy play One Night at Louie's.
