The Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs has announced the line-up for the July 12 performance of JUST FOR LAUGHS comedy/variety show. Four comedians, two local “Audience Favorite” actors, accompanied by pianist Lin Hart.
Orlando comedian of Comedy Night School and Last Comic Standing-fame, Carmen Vallone is the headliner. Vallone brought the house down at the May performance and is back by audience demand. He will be backed on this outing by fellow comedians Peter Beebe, Matt Heilman and “New York’s Most Lovable Teddy Bear in a Get-Off-My-Lawn-Kinda Way,” Craig Schaefer.
Special guests for the show include Melissa Hennig and Luis Pages, fresh from winning “Audience Favorite” at the Stage It! 10-Minute Play Festival. They will reprise their performance of Oded Gross’s brilliantly hilarious Stain, along with other appearances throughout the evening.
Lin Hart returns on the piano and will share her vocals, along with her in-demand accompaniment. Emcee for the evening will be the Center’s Theater and Film Director Frank Blocker, formerly of Stage Left Studio in Manhattan where two of his solo works ran for three years, combined.
