SYNOPSIS: When a recently canceled celebrity housewife and her entourage try to escape the media at an Airbnb in The Berkshires, things go terribly and hilariously wrong as the ladies find themselves in the middle of a manhunt for the Berkshire Strangler. The Hollywood elites find themselves triggered by mistaken identities, bad cell service, a set of twins, power outages, a missing alternator, and a
mysterious landlady in this hilarious thriller from the writers that brought you The Buffalo Kings, The People Downstairs, and The Night Before.
The play is contemporary and set in 2023. Only Mrs. Bates has a style that one would consider a delightful throwback to classic horror cinema.
BRITNEY COX - ROLE IS CAST. female (any ethnicity), 45-55. a recently canceled celebrity housewife/reality star. Glamorous, vapid, shameless. Think Jennifer Coolidge or Kristen Wiig.

TAWNY FITZSIMMONS - ROLE IS CAST. female (any ethnicity), 45-55. Britney's effervescent and energetic makeup artist. Married with triplets and a husband named Dick. Tawny is the most physically comedic role in the play. Think Melissa McCarthy.
MRS. BATES - ROLE IS CAST. female (any ethnicity), 60s. An eerie and hilarious figure. Mrs. Bates poses as an operator of a haunted Airbnb, but her motivations are much more sinister. A horror movie cliche in the vein of Ruth Gordon or Colleen Dewhurst.
STEVEN-PAUL - ROLE IS CAST. White male, 40-50. A mystery man, survivalist and inventor. His character is sometimes mysterious and always hilarious. A nerdy misfit. Think Steve Carrell or Zach Galifinakis. Doubles as FRONALD.

This laugh-out-loud romantic comedy follows the story of Ayamma, a young woman who works with her sister at their parent's travel agency, who dreams of leaving her job and becoming a star. When she auditions for a new film by Nigeria's hottest director, tension flares with his former leading lady, and sparks fly with Nollywood's biggest heartthrob.
All characters are of West African descent.
