Seeking actors with extensive theatrical experience, language skills essential. Because of an abbreviated rehearsal period, actors must be willing to learn all aspects of the production needs quickly and have a strong working knowledge of the script at the beginning of rehearsal.
SEEKING:
MASHA: late 20s-mid 30s to play 36, . An actress. Eager & naïve. An anarchist, full of energy and strongly political, feisty.

OLGA KNIPPER: 30-40 to play 36 . She looks older— A famous leading actress/ Chekov’s widow. A diva- grand, ironic, sarcastic, with a great sense of humor. She is part of the urban intelligentsia in St. Petersburg and Moscow. Role requires a strong comedic actress with a wide emotional range.
