Equity actors for male identifying chorus dancer parts in Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s MARY POPPINS (See breakdown).

PREPARATION

Please be prepared to dance. Also, prepare a 16-bar cut from the show or in the style of the show. Bring sheet music, in the correct key, as an accompanist will be provided. Please bring your headshot and resume stapled together.

BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical

PARK KEEPER/ENSEMBLE: 40s-50s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying Tenor. Smart, uniformed,
officious. His life is defined by rules but he secretly hankers after his childhood.

NELEUS/ENSEMBLE: 20s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying The statue of a young boy separated from
his father, Poseidon. An excellent dancer.

MISS LARK/ENSEMBLE: 30s. Any ethnicity. Female-identifying. Mezzo Soprano. A haughty snob
who lives next door to the Banks. Treats her dog like a child.

MRS. CORRY/ENSEMBLE: 40s. Black. Female-identifying Soprano. Owner of the gingerbread shop.
A mystical woman of stature who speaks with a Caribbean accent.

THE POLICEMAN/ENSEMBLE: 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying A real neighborhood
Policeman. Respected and observant of the households on his beat.

FEMALE ENSEMBLE: 20s-40s Any ethnicity. Female-identifying. Excellent Tap/Jazz/Ballet dancers
with strong singing voices (all vocal ranges) to comprise the ensemble and understudy the principal
roles.

MALE ENSEMBLE: 20’s-40’s Any ethnicity. Male-identifying. Excellent Tap/Jazz/Ballet dancers with
