SEEKING

Equity ensemble dancers for 3 chorus tracks. All Chorus roles in show must be strong dancers, as well as singers and actors. Should have the ability to learn quickly, move swiftly and master musicality. Choreography is “dance-theatre” - a fusion of Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Ballet and Pedestrian Gesture.

Williamstown is seeking performers of all ethnicities and abilities.

BREAKDOWN

Chorus Track 1
Male : Tenor with pop sensibility. Will portray a guard in the revolution, a painter, policeman, and several other characters over the course of the piece. Must be able to carry both menace and elegance.

Chorus Track 2
Male : Bari-tenor with pop sensibility. Will portray a revolutionary, artist, auctioneer, and several other characters over the course of the piece. Must be able to carry menace, elegance, and humor.

Chorus Track 3
Female : Woman of color. Soprano with pop sensibility. Will portray Josephine Baker as well as several other characters over the course of the piece. Should be charismatic and have a strong sense of comedy.
