Feb 19 - Feb 23 - Daytime rehearsals followed by 7 pm previews and opening performances on 2/22 and 2/23
March 9 - Closing performance
Performances continue Wednesdays at 2 pm & 7 pm; Thursdays at 7 pm; Fridays at 7 pm; Saturdays at 2 pm & 7 pm; Sundays at 2 pm.
There will be two Friday morning student matinees during the run, including one on February 21.

All rehearsals and performances will be in Ventura.
Venue: RUBICON THEATRE: 1006 E. Main Street Ventura, CA 93001.
If ticket sales warrant, performances may be added on Tuesday or Sunday nights.

SYNOPSIS

CONSTELLATIONS is a romantic drama, laced with humor, depicting the relationship through time between Roland and Marianne, from the moment they meet through various challenges. Each scene is played in several variations, each occurring in a parallel universe, illustrating how small decisions can lead to vastly different outcomes. The story takes a dark turn when we learn that Marianne has a terminal brain tumor. Characters have great comic sensibility and timing, and speak with a British accent.

SEEKING

MARIANNE - (Female, 30s) gregarious, funny, intelligent, a bit flighty with a dippy charm. She is a data analyst who works in, and is passionate about, quantum mechanics. British accent.
ROLAND - (Male, 30s) a bit of a jock (he enjoys playing soccer), socially a bit awkward, and not as quick-witted as Marianne, but has a big heart. He loves, and geeks out on, his work as a beekeeper. British accent.
