BELLE: Our heroine. Intelligent. Kind. Loyal. Has outgrown her small town. (Vocal range: E3 -F5) BEAST: Cursed Prince. Lonely, petulant. Age: 30 to 40 (Vocal range: F4- A2)
GASTON: A pompous, rude, narcissistic hunter who thinks himself the center of the universe. Age: 30 to 40 (Vocal range: E4- A2)
LUMIERE: Self-confident French valet, flirtatious. Age: 35 to 45 (Vocal range: F#4- F#2) LEFOU: Gaston’s loyal, incredibly eager but not too intelligent sidekick. (Vocal range: B2-F#4)
MRS. POTTS: CAST. Kind-hearted head of the kitchen staff and mother to Chip. Age: 45 to 55 (Vocal range: G5- F#3)
MADAME DE LA GRANDE BOUCHE: A former opera diva-turned-enchanted wardrobe. Big personality and heart. (Vocal range: C#4 - D5)
COGSWORTH: CAST. Officious, excitable, English major-domo; becomes a mantle clock. Age: 40 to 55 (Vocal range: E4- A2)
MAURICE: CAST. Belle’s father. An inventor and eccentric man sometimes naive to the world around him. (Vocal range Bb2-Db4)
