The Magnolia Ballet is a piece written for our times. This bittersweet tale mixes drama, dance, poetry, and spectacle to explore the relationship between a Black father and his queer son in rural Georgia. At times a humorous examination of masculinity, Z and his father Ezekiel struggle to define who they are together and separately in their old family home where the ghosts live in the walls.
