This weekend is full of exciting events in Basement Arts! We would like to invite you to attend our third production of the semester, Thin Air, and our third LATE NIGHT of the semester, Master Bake.

Thin Air
November 21-23. Performances at 7:00pm and an additional 11:00pm performance on Friday.
Directed by: Matthew Flickinger

Thin Air is a completely improvised one-act play. A simple audience suggestion will ignite a performance by actors who are freed from the limitations of a script to tell whatever story needs to be told. What transpires is a unique collaboration between the watchers and the watched that exists only in the present and nowhere else. The performance may be tragic or comedic, cryptic or obvious, transcendent or terrible -- that is up to you. When you let go of expectation and embrace the unknown, what will you pull out of Thin Air?

Master Bake
November 23 at 11:00pm ONLY
Hosted by: Phil Rice

Master Bake is a Theatrically-framed Musical Experience. Creatives of all types collaborate to create a unique blend of live art featuring: music, dance, theatre, and technology. You'll be taken on a psychedelic trip through time where you will begin to question everything you have ever known. Profound sounds and vivid visuals illuminate the iron shackles on the wrists of society. In a time where illusions are presented as reality, its more important than ever to hold on to our individual truths, and use them as brush strokes to paint the world around us.

As always, ADMISSION IS FREE! All performances will take place in Studio 1 of the Walgreen Drama Center. For more information, check out our Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/basementarts.
