Purple Rose Theatre Company to Host 3rd Annual Backyard BBQ Fundraiser, 8/3

The Purple Rose Theatre Company has announced its 3rd annual Backyard BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, August 3, beginning at 4:30 PM. The BBQ will feature a farm-to-table dinner created by Zingerman's Roadhouse with vegetarian options, cocktails, live music and auction activities. The event's new destination location will be Cornman Farms, located at 8540 Island Lake Road in Dexter, MI, only seven miles from The Purple Rose Theatre.

Ticket prices are $70 and $100 per guest. For $70, guests may attend the BBQ cocktails and buffet dinner, auctions and ever-popular Wine Pull with from 4:30 PM - 7:45 PM. For $100, guests enjoy cocktails and BBQ, live/silent auctions, and receive a ticket for the 8:00 PM performance of The Last Romance by Joe DePietro, including a themed-dessert intermission provided by Laura O'Brien Sweets and Treats.

All guests will enjoy a preview of the 2014 / 2015 Purple Rose season of plays. Auction items will include an exclusive Detroit Lions Training Camp Package for 4, a Premium Detroit Lions Suite (one Game for 12 with parking and food credit), a Rocky Mountain Getaway for 6 in Big Sky (Montana), Purple NEWSROOM Studio Bike autographed by Jeff Daniels, Chef Common's Deluxe Lobster Bake and Wine/Theatre Package for 12, UM vs. Maryland Roth Club Football tickets & Premiere parking pass, autographed Lions football, a selection of gift certificates/services, jewelry, memorabilia & more!
