Driving Miss Daisy (Friday, Oct. 31 - Sunday, Nov. 2; at the City Theatre) is the story of Daisy Werthan, a 72 year old Jewish woman living in the south who is too stubborn to admit she needs assistance, Hoke, an illiterate black man hired to be her chauffer, and the strong but reluctant bond that grows between them. The play takes place from 1948-1973 as the civil-rights movement brings changes to the old South.Girls Night: The Musical (Thursday, Nov. 6 - Sunday, Nov. 9; at the City Theatre) is a touching and hilarious 'tell-it-like-it-is' musical that takes audiences on a journey into the lives of a group of female friends as they re-live their past, celebrate their present, and look to the future on a wild and hilarious night out. Celtic Thunder's "Symphony Tour" (Tuesday, Nov. 25) will feature the international singing sensation in a dynamic live music experience accentuated by the instrumentals of a full symphony orchestra to perform songs from their 2013 chart-topping album Christmas Voices.
