The Michigan State University Department of Theatre introduces new students in the 6th annual Freshman Showcase. For this year's showcase, the freshmen are performing selections from Rumi, a story theatre style adaptation of the writings of 13th century poet Jalalludin Rumi. The show will be performed in the Arena Theatre, located in the basement of the Auditorium building, which is on the corner of Farm Lane and Auditorium Road on MSU's campus.

Rumi will have four performances on Friday, November 30th at 8pm, Saturday December 1st at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday, December 2nd at 2pm.

Rumi is a series of vignettes that are parables containing a moral, philosophical, or spiritual question. Our evening of excerpts from this show reflects the beauty and call to contemplation implicit in Rumi's original writings.

Rumi Performance Schedule
Friday, November 30 8pm $10 - Opening Night
Saturday, December 1 2pm $10
Saturday, December 1 8pm $10
Sunday, December 2 2pm $10
