It may be cold outside, but Go Comedy! is set to heat things up with spray tan and melodrama in their latest original comedy, Jersey Show Season 1 (Abridged), Thursday evenings at 8pm January through February 26. Tickets ($10) are available online at www.gocomedy.net, by calling (248) 327-0575 or in person at the Go Comedy! box office beginning at 7pm Wednesday - Sunday night.

The creation of co-writers Go Comedy! resident company member Lesley Braden-Phillips and Kathleen Lietz, Jersey Show Season 1 (Abridged) is an irreverent romp chronicling the entire first season of MTV's reality show, The Jersey Shore. Like the TV show, this original production will offer all the partying, one-liners and abs that have become a standard of American Pop-Culture.

From dance clubs to the ever-accommodating Seaside Heights jacuzzi, a cast of 10 actors will bring the show to life for die-hard fans and those unaware of "Snookie" or "The Situation." The cast includes Jennifer Bloomer (Dearborn Heights), Lesley Braden-Phillips (Royal Oak), Tony Castellani (Berkley), Michelle Giorlando (Royal Oak), Clint Lohman (Plymouth), John Nawaczyk (Ferndale), Brian Papandrea (Plymouth), Heather Sejnowski (Royal Oak), Brett Thurman (Plymouth) and Hailey Zureich (Ferndale).

"Watching MTV's Jersey Shore is like watching the You Tube video of David Hasselhoff eating a hamburger off the floor. You know you shouldn't be doing either one of these things, but you just can't help yourself. " Stated Director Kathleen Lietz (Royal Oak) "Our show is like a parody of a parody. It can only be done safely on the stage at Go Comedy!." Jersey Show co-writer/actor and Go Comedy! resident cast member, Lesley Braden-Phillips added, "We have covered all bases with the show and the
packaging as well. We encourage the audience to get into the spirit of the 'Shore' by coming in their best club wear, gelled hair and tans. We even have signature character themed drinks for guests to enjoy during the run of the show. Come out and have fun with us. I assure you, we have a situation
going on at Go Comedy! this winter."

Tickets ($10) are available online at www.gocomedy.net, by calling (248) 327-0575 or in person at the Go Comedy! Box Office. Jersey Show Season 1 (Abridged) contains adult content language and politically incorrect references. A complete Go Comedy! weekly show schedule follows.
