Farmers Alley Theatre's Famous Cabaret Series Returns This December

Yee haw! Farmers Alley Theatre's famous "Cabaret Series" returns this December with the Country & Western Music bonanza - HONKY TONK ANGELS. Performed in our original black box space in downtown Kalamazoo, this family-friendly musical will be playing December 1st-23rd at 221 Farmers Alley. Our Cabaret setting includes dessert & coffee with your ticket, and our bar will be open for any adult beverages, beer & wine as you listen to some of America's greatest country classics.

If you enjoyed last season's smash hit Million Dollar Quartet, then you are going to fall in love with another group - a trio of spunky spitfires known as the Honky Tonk Angels. Celebrating the songs of country music legends Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and others, this boot-stompin', toe-tappin' down-home-good time features such all-time country classics as "Stand By Your Man", "9 to 5", "Coal Miner's Daughter" and many more. Saddle up this December with this hilarious story about three gutsy gals who dream of stardom. If you can't make it down to Music City or The Grand Ole Opry this Christmas, Farmers Alley has got you covered!

Our three Angels are a great representation of the caliber of performer that we strive to bring in at Farmers Alley Theatre. Local Star Gina-Maria Chimner (Trailer Park Musical, It Shoulda Been You) takes on the role of "Angela", WMU Musical Theatre Major Cara Palombo portrays "Darlene", and renowned professional actress and original "Wonderette" Misty Cotton will be playing "Sue Ellen". They will be led by the expert direction of Sandra Bremer (Ring of Fire, The Marvelous Wonderettes) and music direction of Marie McColley Kerstetter (Forever Plaid, The Andrews Brothers).

HONKY TONK ANGELS runs December 1st through the 23rd. Tickets are $37 on Fri/Sat/Sun and $32 on Wed/Thu. Desserts and Coffee included with each performance - Service begins 30 minutes prior to curtain.
