The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra Sextet performs an evening of classic standards from the Great American Songbook, featuring vocalist Marion Powers. The program includes swing-era classics and fresh interpretations of jazz favorites, plus an exclusive preview of selections from the ensemble's upcoming fifth album. Marion Powers is a six-time DownBeat Award-winning jazz vocalist, arranger, songwriter, and educator. The CJRO Quartet includes Ben Paille, Drew Zaremba, Jared Cathey, Eric Gunnison, Gonzalo Teppa, and Alejandro Castaño.
