Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra Big Band in Concert with Veronica Swift at Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities

The Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra big band, led by Artistic Director Drew Zaremba, welcomes international recording artist Veronica Swift to the Arvada Center outdoor Amphitheatre for a one-night-only performance. Veronica Swift is recognized as one of her generation's defining voices in jazz, with a career spanning two decades that includes a second-place finish in the 2015 Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition, a residency at Birdland Jazz Club, and touring with Chris Botti and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Her 2021 album This Bitter Earth earned a five-star review and the cover of DownBeat, and in 2024 she was named a Chevalier in France's Order of Arts and Letters. The CJRO will premiere special arrangements created for this concert, exploring jazz alongside America's broader musical heritage.
