About the 2010 CAPA Summer Movie Series
Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, the CAPA Summer Movie Series at the magnificent Ohio Theatre has become one of central Ohio's favorite summertime entertainment traditions. Made possible through the generous support of PNC, the 2010 Series features 22 of the world's most treasured films. 2010 highlights include 11 series premieres, four musicals, a Buster Keaton silent film double feature with live musical accompaniment, two Saturday mornings of classic cartoons, two "Late Nite Fridays," two "Chick Flick Fridays," and one "Fright Nite Friday" double feature.

The 2010 CAPA Summer Movie Series runs June 4-July 25. Day-of-show tickets are $4 and go on sale one hour prior to show time at the Ohio Theatre kiosk. Senior citizen tickets are available for $3.50. Now through July 11, strips of 10 tickets are available for $25, a savings of $1.50 per ticket. Strip tickets are good for any film in any combination. All tickets are general admission and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Staub Funds of the Columbus Foundation, assisting donors and others in strengthening our community for the benefit of all of its citizens, and the Greater Columbus Arts Council, supporting the city's artists and arts organizations since 1973.

Owner/operator of downtown Columbus' magnificent, historic theatres (Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, Southern Theatre) and manager of the Riffe Center Theatre Complex, Lincoln Theatre, Valentine Theatre (Toledo, OH), and Shubert Theater (New Haven, CT), CAPA is a not-for-profit, award-winning presenter of national and international performing arts and entertainment now celebrating 40 years of service.
