About this studio
The Yeates Academy of Irish Dance is an accredited Irish step dance school established in Portland, Oregon in 1985, and describes itself as Oregon's longest running Irish dance school. It teaches at locations in Portland, Salem, Lake Oswego, Redmond and Vancouver, Washington, taking students of all ages and specializing in traditional and performance-style Irish dance. Staff include TCRG-certified instructors Sinead Yeates and Meaghan Feeback along with Cameron Allard, with Sinead and Breda Yeates as studio directors, bringing more than 40 years of combined teaching and performance experience. The academy fields the Yeates Academy Performance Dancers, hosts feiseanna including the Oregon State Championship Feis, and runs summer camps for all ages and skill levels.
