About this studio
Valley Dance Productions is a dance school at 17 Elm Avenue in Roanoke, Virginia. Its stated aim is to bring music, fun and dance into children's lives, using movement and positive reinforcement to build self-respect, discipline, leadership and poise. Combo classes for ages three to eight introduce the foundations of ballet and tap/jazz, and separate technique classes follow for older students: ballet and pointe from age eight, tap from eight, jazz from seven, hip hop and modern from eight, and lyrical and musical theatre from eleven. AcroDance, blending classical technique with acrobatic and gymnastic elements, is open from age three. The studio also runs summer camps and pop-up sessions and hosts birthday parties. Monthly tuition is charged on a sliding scale by number of classes, with unlimited pricing available.
