The Wellspring-Cori Terry and Dancers

Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Kalamazoo, Michigan, combining a professional modern dance company, a platform for postmodern choreography and a dance academy. Its home is the Cori Terry Theatre in the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo, with offices at 359 S. Kalamazoo Mall. Wellspring Academy classes are taught by company members and local dance educators and serve ages 3 and up plus adult drop-in classes for ages 15 and over. The 2026-27 schedule includes Creative Movement for ages 3-4, Dance Fundamentals I and II for ages 5-8, and graded Ballet, Modern and Jazz levels from age 8 through teens, along with a Composition class for ages 13 and up, adult contemporary ballet and contemporary improvisation, and Saturday workshops. An audition-based Youth Company rehearses weekly. The organization also produces RADFest, a festival presenting selected contemporary choreographers, and rents its theater.
