The Philadelphia Dance Academy LLC

The Philadelphia Dance Academy has taught dance for more than 20 years from its main office in The Creative Arts Building at 219 Cuthbert Street in Old City, Center City Philadelphia, with a second location in the heart of Ardmore on the Main Line. Its stated goal is exceptional dance training in a professional and positive environment, treating each student as an individual and placing them in the appropriate program under an experienced faculty, with an emphasis on refined technique, dancer wellness and artistic development. Programs cover Early Childhood dance, Primary and Pre-Professional ballet, a Boys Scholarship Program, Theater Dance, Contemporary Dance, adult and teen recreational classes, and Pilates, alongside a summer program. Performance opportunities include an annual Nutcracker, an annual Spring Showcase, and The Philadelphia Youth Ballet with its Junior Ensemble. PDA was named 2025 Best Dance Studio by Philadelphia Family Magazine and 2025 Best Dance School for Children by Metro Philly, and it also rents studio space.
