About this studio
Dance Institute of Philadelphia (DIP Studios) is a dance school now based at its Fox Street Studios, 3251 Fox Street, Philadelphia. It offers affordable dance education for children aged 2.5 to 18, with classes in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, acrobatics, praise dance and African dance, sold through class packages as well as individual enrollment. The school is home to two performance groups: DanceInPhinity!, its pre-professional dance company, and The Ensemble. Its motto is Where Passion Meets Purpose, and it describes itself as a destination for dance education rooted in the character of Philadelphia. DIP presents an annual recital, documented on the site back to 2017, and runs summer classes in addition to the main season. The 2026-2027 dance season begins on 12 September, with registration, class packages, a dress code and a policies handbook published online.
