About this studio
The MovementLAB is a dance studio at 981 Airway Court in Santa Rosa, California, founded by Bernadette Alverio-Tonks after years of performing, teaching, producing and choreographing across northern California. The studio runs fall and spring sessions with classes in ballet, technique, jazz, tap, modern and hip hop, plus a DanceFit fitness class and a non-performing adult ballet class. Most classes are performing classes that culminate in a session performance at the Spreckels Performing Arts Center, and there is a Youth Dance Company entered by audition. The MovementLAB also offers adaptive All Abilities and adaptive performing classes and is a vendor with the North Bay Regional Center. Tuition is charged monthly by autopay on an hours-per-household scale.
