The Hagen School of Irish Dance Inc

The Hagen School of Irish Dance was founded in 1999 by Jean Hagen Duffy, A.D.C.R.G., to promote Irish culture and heritage through dance, and is now known as the Hagen Kavanagh School of Irish Dance. Miss Jean directs the school and is a teacher and adjudicator certified by An Chomhdhail (Chomhdhail na Muinteoiri le Rinci Gaelacha Teoranta), the largest Irish dance organization in Ireland. The school welcomes dancers of all ages and levels of commitment, from recreational students to serious competitors, and states its mission as preserving and expanding Irish dance in a supportive and respectful environment where friendship and team spirit are stressed. Since opening it has produced regional and national champions and world medal holders. Students perform at local shows and donate time to charitable organizations, and the school hosts its own competition, the Hagen Feis. It is a founding member of the USA Irish Dance Alliance, a branch of An Chomhdhail.
