About THE FOUNDATION FOR DANCE EDUCATION
Founded in 1993, IPB has become the premiere professional ballet company in the region. The Company’s repertoire includes classics such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Blake/ Mendelsohn), Les Sylphides (Fokine/Chopin), Graduation Ball (Lichine/ Strauss) and Swan Lake Act II (Schergen after Ivanov/Tchaikovsky). Full length classical masterpieces include Giselle (Coralli, Perrot/Adam), Coppelia (Holden after Ivanov/Delibes), and a lavish production of The Nutcracker (Blake-Koenig/Tchaiskovsky).Contemporary classics include Beginnings (Choo San Goh/Berkeley), Rodeo (DeMille/Copeland) and masterpieces by the legendary George Balanchine, including Who Cares? (Gershwin), Concerto Barocco (J.S. Bach) and Serenade (Tchaikovsky).
A growing body of original work includes The Little Mermaid by Eric Skinner and Daniel Kirk, Dracula choreographed by Arturo Fernandez, Cinderella choreographed by Laurence Blake, and Beauty and the Beast choreographed by Clinton Rothwell.
