The Carroll School of Dance Inc

The Carroll School of Dance (CSOD) is a Baltimore dance school, now at 3010 Hamilton Avenue, dedicated to providing opportunities for dance development in Maryland with a particular focus on Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Its program spans workshops, weekly classes, performances and field trips, and is designed for all ages including children, teenagers, adults and seniors, with classes running year round on rolling admission. The school teaches pre-dance, ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, African, Zumba, musical theatre, martial arts and exercise in movement for ages 2 through adult, and also lists creative movement and minis, majorette, tap and tumbling among its courses. Its mission is to introduce, educate and train students in the different cultural movements of dance, with an emphasis on multiculturalism, achieved partly through partnerships with local artists, communities and schools. CSOD also runs a traveling competition team and a summer camp.
