About this studio
The Ballet Workshop is a dance school in Enumclaw, Washington, teaching ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and tumbling. It has been running for well over three decades - its 2024-25 season closed with a 37th annual end-of-year production - and each June it stages a full-length story ballet at Enumclaw High School, recent titles including Rapunzel, Belle and The Lion King. The school is home to PBRT, a pre-professional youth ballet company whose dancers mount an annual Nutcracker each December, an accompanying Sugar Plum Fairy Tea with excerpts, a Q&A and backstage tour for younger audiences, and a spring mixed-repertory program in which company members explore jazz, lyrical, contemporary and ballet works and try their hand at choreography. A summer session with its own brochure runs alongside the school year, with registration handled through Jackrabbit.
