About this studio
Backstage Dance Studio at 13420 SE 32nd Street in Bellevue, Washington has taught dance for more than 40 years, describing its focus as building confidence, character and community in a fun but challenging environment with high expectations. The school-year session runs from September to early June and offers classes by style in acro, ballet and pointe, contemporary, creative movement, hip hop, jazz, tap, pre-ballet, pre-hip hop and combination classes, with a graded-level structure and a teaching-assistant program. Summer brings themed performing arts camps plus classes for ages 2-7 and drop-in classes for ages 7 and up. Performing groups include the Signature Team, which auditions, along with STARS and DEBUT.
