Studio Dance Arts Inc.

Studio Dance Arts was founded in 2003 and runs locations in Marquette and Munising, Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, plus the Marquette Gymnastics Center. It describes a diverse faculty of teachers and choreographers and an emphasis on dance technique and performance skills alongside life skills such as discipline, dedication, perseverance, respect and teamwork. Each site offers a preschool and kinder recreational stream, a full-season recreational program for grades 1-12 and a competitive program, with adult dance offered as well; the Marquette recreational classes pair Ballet/Lyrical with Jazz/Hip Hop for REC 1 (grades 1-2) and REC 2 (grades 3 and up). The full season runs 35 weeks from September to June and culminates in a professionally produced year-end show in full costume. Summer recreational camps and summer competitive programs run at the Michigan and Ontario sites, and the studio offers financial assistance and sponsorships. Registration and family accounts are handled through Jackrabbit.
